ILO minium labour rights denied to Australian workers

What policy makers can do is to examine these detailed evidence – based arguments in this lodgement of complaint about the Fair Work Bill to the International Labour Organisation. Political discourse depends on the merits of the arguments that the Rudd/Gillard government, like Howard, is in breach of fundamental international standards.
Rudd is striding the UN and G20 preaching international principles, but at home is in breach of ILO labour law jurisprudence. Working families deserve better.
On this site below download the CEPU submission on the ILO minimums and how the Fair Work Act is in breach.
It takes some time to digest the details and the severity of Rudd continuing Howard’s flouting of basic ILO labour standards.
The ACTU failed to prosecute this submission despite the arguments being ACTU policy.
The Rudd government continues to ignore these arguments, despite the PM and other ALP MPs publicly supporting ILO minimums prior to the 2007 election.
